e-Core is a Platinum Enterprise Atlassian Solutions Partner looking for an Atlassian Technical Consultant to join our team in the New York area. The ideal candidate is comfortable with a fast-paced environment and will successfully support and advise e-Core's clients on how to best use Atlassian solutions to meet their business objectives and will provide them with strategic guidance with regard to IT Service Management, Portfolio Management, ALM and Agile methodologies. 


  • Meet with clients to determine business requirements and recommend the best technical solutions using a consultative approach
  • Design, define and develop Atlassian solutions by leveraging a unique combination of e-Core's past project experiences, technical architecture best practices and specific customer requirements
  • Install, upgrade, migrate, integrate, configure and customize Atlassian products such as JIRA Software, JIRA Service Desk, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket deployed in Server and Data Center platforms
  • Architecture and develop the solutions, configurations, modifications and integrations between Atlassian tools, add-ons and third-party software to best support customer processes
  • Collaborate with a distributed team (across US and Brazil) in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to deliver high-quality services to customers (both on-site and remote)
  • Provide support to customer issues; Troubleshoot and debug application errors and performance issues during migrations, upgrades, and deployments
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within existing clients and recommend technical solutions accordingly
  • Ensure client requests are addressed and project delivery is executed successfully in every respect to the customer's satisfaction
  • Prepare and deliver training for customers and to internal teams
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations - webinars and in-person events focused on areas such as IT Service Desk, Application Lifecycle Management, and Project Portfolio Management
  • Provide mentoring to the technical consulting and support teams
  • On-board new team members and ensure the entire team follow consulting best practices
  • Assist Pre-sales and Sales teams to identify and create opportunities within existing customers for IT solutions based on the Atlassian stack

Skills and experience

  • IT consulting background with strong customer service culture and proven track record of developing the architecture of custom solutions to clients
  • Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA Software, JIRA Service Desk, Bamboo, BitBucket, FishEye/Crucible, Confluence, HipChat) and Marketplace add-ons administration
  • Understanding of the design, implementation, and deployment of high performance, large-scale Atlassian applications in a distributed (Data-center) environment
  • Previous consulting experience implementing technical solutions in one or more areas such as:
    • Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
    • Agile methodologies and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
    • ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM)
    • DevOps & Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
    • Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
  • Knowledge on how to install, administer and configure Java-based web applications in different Operating Systems (Linux, Windows).
  • Experience with Apache, Tomcat server configuration and tuning, and JVM tuning
  • Familiarity with GIT, SVN or other source control/versioning systems. Continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Familiarity with databases and demonstrated SQL experience
  • Familiarity with Active Directory/LDAP, SSO, Apache, VPN, proxy, SSL and related configurations
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical capabilities, creative problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction
  • Experience operating in an ever-changing environment with a can-do attitude and sense of urgency to get things done with practical results
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience


  • White Plains - NY area
  • Availability to travel to events and to customer sites across the US (25-50% travel)
