IT Security Delivery Manager

Based in Porto Alegre and with offices in São Paulo (BR), Florida (US) and New York (US), we are hiring an IT Security Delivery Manager to implement a Security Strategy to ensure that our systems and information are protected of a variety of cyberthreats, securing that when cyberattacks occur or data are stolen or compromised, those incidents are dealt promptly and actions are taken to minimize the incident recurrence. 

As IT Security Delivery Manager you:

  • Develop, lead and motivate teams to reach their potential within e-Core's service delivery organization;
  • Manage, develop and motivate team leads and individual contributors;
  • Research the latest information technology security trends and certifications; 
  • Play a critical role in monitoring e-Core’s networks for security breaches and investigate violations when they occurs;
  • Develop, maintain, improve and standardize security standards and best practices for the service delivery processes  and systems in cooperation with relevant stakeholders;
  • Direct the installation and use of security tools (e.g., firewalls, data encryption), to protect sensitive information;
  • Ensure that IT security audits are conducted periodically or as needed (e.g., when a security breach occurs);
  • Build and foster a "customer first" and "operational excellence" culture;
  • Take responsibility for performance management. Identify strengths, problem areas, and develop plans for improving performance;
  • Evaluate candidates for technical and leadership positions both in Brazil and in the US;
  • Develop, deliver, monitor and review e-Core's Service Delivery business plan quarterly; Plan and manage the budget;
  • Ensure action is taken to deal with exceptions, problems, escalations and unforeseen events in a timely manner;
  • Provide insights and business advice on areas such as Project Portfolio Management, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Agile Methodologies, or IT Service Management;

IT Security Delivery Roles

  • Continuously manage the contractual and business requirements towards IT Security
  • Implement a Security Strategy to ensure that our systems and information are protected of a variety of cyberthreats
  • Secure that when cyberattacks occur or data are stolen or compromised, those incidents are dealt promptly and actions are taken to minimize the incident recurrence
  • Cultivate customer relationship for value creation
  • Act as main interface for delivery areas  
  • Secure the financial performance of the IT Security account
  • Understand the customer needs and strategy identifying new opportunities
