Referral Program Rules e-Core US

This post presents the rules for the e-Core US employee referral program. All referral campaigns will follow the definitions written here.

Steps for Submitting a Referral

  1. Send the person’s resume to hr@e-core.com indicating the position you believe he/she would be a fit for. Or, you can just ask them to send it themselves, but advise them to include your name as the person that made the referral.
  2. Wait while the process is happening. e-Core’s recruiters will keep you in the loop about your referral – giving updates on status whenever possible. You are also welcome to reach out and ask for more information.
  3. If your referral gets hired for the position, you get the bonus prize as soon as he/she starts working with us.

General Rules

  • Candidate’s CV must be sent to hr@e-core.com. The referral will not be considered otherwise.
  • This program is available for internal and external participants.
  • You cannot refer yourself.
  • e-Core Board Members, Advisors, and Directors are ineligible for the Referral Reward program.
  • e-Core HR team is ineligible to receive a reward for a referral.
  • Your referral needs to be hired and begin employment for you to receive the reward. That implies that a start date has been defined. The day that your referral started with e-Core you will be eligible to receive the reward.
  • The seniority and tier must be defined for each position. This determines what your reward is for the hiring of a referral.

For example, at the Special tier; – if the open position is for a Senior Java Developer, and the reward is for $1,500 USD, but the referral is hired for a junior position, he or she wouldn’t receive the $1,500 USD reward, but would be eligible to receive the Standard referral reward.

  • Any Special tier referral position will include a close date for submission of referrals. If a referral is submitted after the close date, the referrer will be ineligible to receive the reward, even if the referral is hired.
  • Only new candidates will be considered for the referral program. If your referral is already in our recruiting database or has recently been invited for an interview by one of our Recruiters you will not receive the reward. HR will notify you at the time of submission if the candidate is new to our database or already exists.

For example, a candidate is referred but one of our recruiters scheduled an interview the day before. The referral is invalid and our recruiter will advise you.

  • Our Recruiters will provide updates on the status of the candidate. You are welcome to reach out if unsure of status.
  • Each referral is valid for a period of three months.

For example, if you refer a candidate for one position and the position has been filled or closes and in a matter of three months a similar one is posted, the referral is still valid. If the referral is considered and hired under the new position, the referrer will still be eligible to receive a referral prize.

  • The referrer receives the reward based on the tier the referral was hired for.

For example, the referral was initially referred for the Standard tier, but then was hired for a position in the Special or Premium tier- the referrer will receive a reward at the Special or Premium tier level.

  • Keep the referrals coming! We have a no limit policy on the number of referrals you submit, or the number of times a person is referred to our open positions. We kindly request you limit your entries to candidates that are qualified for the role at hand.

  • The company reserves the right to modify or cancel this program at its discretion.

About Referral Campaign Types

Rewards can change based on the Referral Campaign type that e-Core promotes. There are 3 types of Referral Campaigns as defined below:

Basic

  • Applied to every referral for every open position and is always active. e-Core offers $700 USD for basic referrals.
  • All General Rules outlined above apply.
  • The reward for basic referral is offered via bonus or gift card. e-Core employees have the option to select between bonus or gift-card. Non-employees will receive their rewards only through gift cards.

Special

  • Special campaigns will always be of different and superior amount value compared with our Basic tier.
  • All General Rules outlined above apply.
  • Special campaigns have end dates. The time period will be specified in the campaign promotion.
  • All Special campaigns promoted by e-Core will include a “Special Referrals” denotation, in addition to the position, reward description, start and due dates.

For example, an e-Core job posting might read something like this, “Special Referral: Java Developer, $1,500 USD Reward, from August 20th until October 15th.”

  • The reward for a Special referral is offered via bonus or gift card.e-Core employees have the option to select between bonus or gift-card. Non-employees will receive their rewards only through gift cards.
  • Special campaigns are not cumulative with Basic campaigns.

Premium

  • Premium campaigns offer non-financial rewards (think video games, travel, etc.). These rewards vary depending on the campaign.
  • All General Rules outlined above apply.
  • Premium campaigns have end dates. The time period will be specified in the campaign promotion.
  • All Premium campaigns promoted by e-Core will include a “Premium Referrals” denotation, in addition to the position, reward description, start and due dates. Specific information will be detailed for reward type.

For example, an e-Core job posting might read something like this, “Premium Referral: Support Analyst, Xbox One Reward, from August 20th until October 20th.”

  • Premium Campaigns are not cumulative with Basic and Special campaigns.

Here are a few examples of how the program works:

  1. e-Core runs a Special Referral campaign for a Java Senior Developer position with a $1,500 USD reward. You refer a mate that is hired as a Junior Java Developer. Since the position hired for is outside of the Special referral campaign position you won’t receive the Special reward of $ 1,500 USD however, in this case, you’ll receive the Basic reward of $700 USD since you still referred the candidate and they were hired.
  2. e-Core runs a Special referral campaign for a .NET Senior Developer position that ends on September 30th with a $1,500 USD reward. You refer a mate prior to the deadline of September 30th and is hired on October 15th with a start date of October 22nd. You will receive the $1,500 USD reward once the candidate begins their employment.

About rewards

  • Referral program rewards vary according to the Campaign type, but belong to one of the 3 categories listed below:
    • Bonus: Cash amount received with wages. Valid only for e-Core employees.
      • Important: Tax will be applied to the bonus amount and will be added to the wage and work overtime to define the discounts of these taxes.
    • Gift-Cards: Valid for e-core employees and non-employees.
      • American Express Gift-Cards in the same dollar amount as cash rewards.
    • Non- financial: Rewards that are non-financial, varying according to campaigns.
